Welcome to the Internet database of the Warsaw Jewish Cemetery at Okopowa Street.

The data is still being collected - the inventory has begun in the end of July 2006, we have by now collected ca. 30% of the inscriptions and we are planning to finish in Spring 2010.

The project of the inventory and the Internet database has been sponsored from the beginning by Mr Emile Karafiol.

The browser sorts the results of a query by their relevance (shown in percents) and displays matching maiden names with an adequate annotation. We encourage you therefore to look through all names shown by the browser. Some results may be doubled, because our browser checks data collected by Cemetery Director Przemyslaw Szpilman as well.
